Power Hour (Station teaching)
Station teaching is used very successfully in our school. During this time the children work in small groups with a teacher on a particular aspect of a subject. The groups rotate around a number of stations over the course of the lesson. This system allows children to work in similar ability groupings with learning objectives that are tailored to their ability level.
