5th class created pop art this week using Andy Warhol as our inspiration.
5th class continued to explore pop art this week. This time we were exploring pop art using Halloween as our inspiration. 5th class created some crazy, colourful pumpkins.

FAI football 5-a-side
5th class were exploring 2D shoes this week. They were using 7 shapes trying to create a perfect square. The boys had to use all 7 shapes without any overlapping. A lot more challenging than you would think!!
Every Thursday, 5th class go to the youth club. While there, the boys get to use the PS4, laptops, pool table, board games and football table. It is the perfect environment for the boys to relax, chat, socialise and most importantly have FUN!!
5th class boys worked in small groups today to create Christmas posters to decorate the class. The boys worked together to come up with a concept. Then they delegated jobs and decided who would be doing what. So far the boys have sketched their designs and outlined with a black sharpie.
Credit Union Quiz
5th Class boys came in 5th place at the Credit Union Quiz. All the boys tried very hard at the quiz and there was hardly any difference in points in the end.
Operation Transformation 10@10
5th class invited their Grandparents in for Grandparent’s Day this week. The boys sang two songs for the Grandparents. The boys did some short activities with their Grandparents including an interview, a word search and a colouring sheet. While they did their activities their Grandparents enjoyed a cup of tea and some cakes the boys prepared the day before! Thank you to all the Grandparents that came today and shared a very special afternoon with the boys in room 7!
