Dodgeball and basketball have been extremely popular with the senior classes in the school while we practice the skill of 'throwing'. We have adopted the idea of 'Whole, part, whole' lessons inspired by FMS and PDST. We allow the children to play a game and then we pause the game to discuss a particular element of throwing. Once the children have practiced that particular element, we restart the game using our new focus.

Ms Ray was kind enough to share some photos with us to give us a snapshot into her class. This is their PE lesson inspired by the story 'Guess How Much I Love You' by Sam McBratney. The boys copied Little Nutbrown Hare. Doesn't it look like a lot of fun??
